Deficiencies and discrepancies found in preliminary audit of 2023 Jackson County property tax assessments.

Refunds won't be an option for Jackson County property owners, despite the Missouri State Tax Commission ordering the rollback.

The Missouri State Auditor says up to 200,000 property owners in Jackson County were victims of a severely flawed reassessment process.

A Lee’s Summit resident is devastated after her property tax went up 69%, and her mortgage went up $500/month.
